Tomato Phoodina Raita

2 medium onions (thin sliced)

2 medium tomatoes  ( thin sliced )

1 cup plain yogurt

3 – 4 fresh mint sprigs , stemmed and chopped

one  2 inch piece of fresh hot green chili

3/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

COmbine the onions and tomatoes with the yogurt . Add the mint , chili , cumin or red pepper and salt . Mix well .
