Moong Daal Ka HAlwa

Ingredients
a) Khoya ( Mawa) or Condensed Milk 100 grams.
b) Cashew nuts – cut.
c) Ghee 200 grams.
d) Moong Dal 100 grams.
e) Sugar 150 grams.
f) Almonds – cut.
g) Choti Elayichi Powder (Cardamom Powder) 1/4 Teaspoon.
h) Pista ( Pistachio unsalted) 2 Tablespoons.

Direction:-
1.Soak the Moong Dal in plenty of water for about 2 hours or more.
2. Take the Dal out and grind it into a paste, use a little water if needed while grinding.
3. Take a thick bottomed pan and heat the ghee.
4. Add the Moong Dal paste in the ghee.
5. Keep on stirring continuously while cooking for about 20 minutes or so till the colour tends to change to browning red.
6. Add the sugar, cardamom powder and the nuts.
7. Add the Khoya or condensed milk.
8. Stir for 2 more minutes and remove from the heat.
9. Adorn it with dry fruits,almonds,green pistachios
10 Now moong ka halwa is ready.
