Bharwaan paneer pakore

250 gm paneer, some chaat masala to sprinkle

Stuffings / Fillings Ingredients
½ tbsp caron seeds
1 small onion- grated and sequeezed well
ginger piece grated and crushed to a paste
3-4 flakes garlic- crushed
½ tbso chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp salt
2 tsp dhania powder
2 tsp amchoor

Battar the following into a paste
1 cup besan,
1/3 cup water-approx
2 pinches baking powder
¾ tsp each red chilli powder and salt, or to taste chopped coriander

Preparations

  1. cut paneer inti 1 ½ squres which are slightly thicker than ¼ thickness.
  2. slit the pieces of paneer, a little more than halway but not till the end.
  3. sprinkle some chaat masala on them on borh sides.
  4. prepare the filling, mix all ingredients of the filling together.
  5. with the help of the knife insert some filling in the paneer pieces, press well.
  6. make a thick batter wih all the ingredients beat well and keep aside for 12 minutes.
  7. dip the stugffed piece of paneer in the batter and deep fry in hot oil till gilden.
  8. serve hot sprinkled with chaat masala
